Description of course
The Bhakti Sastri course has been running at the Manor for 14 years. The course consists of the in-depth study including assessments of four of Srila Prabhupada’s books in the association of devotees. The four books systematically studied are Bhagavad Gita, The Nectar of Instruction, Sri Isopanisad, The Nectar of Devotion. The intention is that students not only gain a thorough understanding of Vedic philosophy and Srila Prabhupada's mission, but also how to practically apply the principles of Krishna Consciousness. The sessions are interactive and enlivening and the coursework provides an opportunity to reflect on the application of the teachings to one's own life and see the world through the eyes of scripture. Completing the Bhakti Sastri course is recommended before first initiation and is mandatory for second initiation.
